The Shift Supervisor ensures coordinated service efforts aligned with resident service plans and assists the Resident Services Coordinator and Administrator in achieving living center goals. This role oversees quality service delivery, supervises shift personnel, and manages resident records and care plans.
Responsibilities
- Follow and enforce company policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Communicate with family members, physicians, therapists, and counselors regarding resident needs
- Ensure residents are treated with kindness and respect, protecting them from accidents and injuries
- Participate in written evaluations of employees and supervise shift personnel
- Process all physician or health-care provider orders and assure compliance with protocols
- Oversee resident records, perform charting duties, and complete required documentation
- Participate in the development and assurance of resident assessment and service plans
- Assist staff with the move-in process for new residents
- Assure safe and proper techniques are used with chemicals and cleaning products
Requirements
- Current license or registrations (LPN, MA, CNA, EMT)
- Current First Aid Certification
- Current CPR Certification
- Trained in Medication Administration
