Service Cashier

About This Role

The Service Cashier drives customer retention by providing a polite and professional conclusion to the service experience, ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting the dealership's service operations.

Responsibilities

• Collect payments in card, cash, or check form
• Understand and apply customer coupons and GM Rewards
• Make change accurately and maintain an accurate and balanced cash drawer
• Assist customers in the waiting room with questions and/or concerns
• Operate scanning system to scan closed repair orders into the dealership database
• Assist in dispatching drivers to pick up customer vehicles, dealer trade vehicles, parts, etc.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong customer service skills
• Professional personal appearance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Basic computer proficiency
• Clean driving record and background check
