SEO Strategist

About This Role

Lead and manage SEO campaigns for various client websites, focusing on both technical and content-driven improvements. This role involves experimenting with new tools, automation, and AI to enhance SEO efficiency and visibility.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement SEO strategies across different client websites
• Monitor key performance metrics like traffic, rankings, and leads
• Work on both technical SEO and content-driven improvements
• Try out AI tools and automation platforms to improve SEO efficiency
• Experiment with prompt testing, featured snippets, and new types of search results
• Look for creative ways to gain visibility beyond traditional search engines
• Keep up with SEO trends, algorithm changes, and AI developments
• Perform audits and suggest improvements for site speed, structure, and schema
• Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure clean technical setups
• Help build efficient processes, templates, and documentation

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on SEO experience (technical, content, strategic)
• Comfortable using SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and Google Analytics
• Technical SEO skills, especially within WordPress environments (site structure, speed, tags, indexing, etc.)
• Working knowledge of structured data and schema markup or willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to explain SEO ideas clearly
• Self-directed and curious mindset (building systems, testing ideas, improving processes)

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on SEO experience, including technical, content, and strategic work.

Nice to Have

• Experience or interest in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) or AI-enhanced search behavior
• Prompt testing, embedding concepts, or GPT-based tools and APIs
• Using automation tools (like Make.com or Zapier) to improve workflows
