This role supports officers in administering trusts and other financial matters within the Wealth Management & Trust department. It requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure efficient delivery of wealth management services.
Responsibilities
- Assist officers with daily management of accounts
- Prepare, process, and maintain trust-related documents, reports and correspondence
- Handle client inquiries and provide support regarding personal and financial matters
- Maintain accurate records of trust transactions, distributions, and compliance requirements
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and assist in account reviews
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and legal guidelines related to trusts
- Manage electronic and physical filings of documents
- Process invoices, payments, and disbursements
- Mentor associates and specialists
- Lead and develop projects as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- Proficiency in creating business correspondence
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a deadline driven environment
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft 365
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- 8+ years of administrative assistant experience preferred, with banking and/or financial industry experience preferred.
