This role is accountable for driving revenue growth, leading a sales team, developing strategic accounts, and ensuring disciplined execution across the event sales lifecycle for a hospitality company. The manager will own individual sales production and team performance, while coordinating seamlessly with Operations to protect margins, client satisfaction, and brand reputation.
Responsibilities
- Own individual and team revenue targets aligned with quarterly and annual company objectives
- Generate new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, venue relationships, and industry networking
- Manage and direct the sales team to execute inbound inquiries with speed, accuracy, and professionalism
- Create, present, and close sophisticated beverage catering proposals and experiential service packages
- Maintain pricing discipline while maximizing upsell penetration, add on revenue, and overall event profitability
- Manage client expectations throughout the sales process and ensure contract accuracy and execution integrity
- Lead weekly sales meetings with clear metrics, pipeline review, forecasting discipline, and accountability
- Track and analyze conversion rates, booking velocity, revenue attainment, and individual sales performance
- Coach and mentor Sales Representatives to elevate professionalism, responsiveness, and closing effectiveness
- Represent Snake Oil Cocktail Company at key industry events, networking functions, and partner engagements
- Partner closely with Operations, Staffing, and Leadership to plan and execute events successfully
- Maintain accurate and current sales reports, pipeline tracking, and booking documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hospitality, food and beverage, or event sales experience
- Proven experience managing, coaching, and leading a sales team
- Demonstrated success closing complex event or catering contracts
- Strong analytical capability with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to operate under pressure while maintaining executive presence and sound judgment
- Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hospitality, food and beverage, or event sales experience
Nice to Have
- Beverage catering or bar service sales experience
- Bartending or mixology background with service level understanding
- Working knowledge of TripleSeat
- Experience collaborating closely with operations and field execution teams
