About This Role

Support INSCOM as a Senior Targeting Analyst, developing targets and target systems for joint engagements, creating target intelligence products, and assisting with combat assessment requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop targets and target systems for joint lethal and/or non-lethal engagements
  • Develop target nominations, create database records, and databases target intelligence products
  • Produce all-source analytic damage estimates and battle damage assessments
  • Assist with combat assessment requirements
  • Conduct collateral damage estimation
  • Perform target list management and target strategy development
  • Provide joint target intelligence support to deliberate and dynamic target engagements
  • Provide recommendations for target prioritization to achieve commander objectives for plans and operations
  • Provide database nominations, create and update databases, and upload TMs into databases

Requirements

  • MA or MS in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND 10 years CURRENT Intelligence Analysis experience; OR BA/BS degree in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND at least 15 years of Intelligence Analysis experience; OR HS diploma/GED AND Specialized Training with at least 20 years of Intelligence Analysis experience.
  • Relevant experience in the field of remote sensing, Geospatial analysis, and all-source analysis
  • At least 5 years working supporting the Joint targeting cycle
  • Understanding of the Intelligence Cycle, Collection Management Cycle, Targeting Cycle, and supporting intelligence analytic techniques
  • Understanding of Intelligence Support / Role in the MDMP
  • Senior level research and writing skills
  • Senior knowledge of GEOINT software including RemoteView, SOCET GXP, DIEE, or ArcGIS
  • Experience with photogrammetric principles and techniques
  • Experience in overseeing and executing target development standard as defined in JP 3-60 and CJCSI 3370.01D.
  • Training and expert knowledge in basic, intermediate, and advanced target development.
  • Current/active TS/SCI clearance (within the last 5 years)

Qualifications

  • MA or MS in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field; OR BA/BS degree in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field; OR HS diploma/GED and Specialized Training
  • 10 years of current Intelligence Analysis experience with an MA/MS degree; 15 years with a BA/BS degree; or 20 years with a HS diploma/GED and specialized training. At least 5 years working supporting the Joint targeting cycle.

Nice to Have

  • GPC-II Imagery Certification
  • Experience with commercial visualization software
  • Experience with MS Office suite of tools
  • Experience presenting at community forums and symposiums
  • Completion of related Army (or service equivalent) 35/350G, 12Y/125D, or 35F/350F military occupational specialty school
