Senior Structural Engineer - Wireless

About This Role

Lead and design structural solutions for diverse wireless and non-wireless projects, including telecom towers, and manage projects from proposals to construction oversight. This role involves occasional site visits and a focus on project quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and design structural solutions for a diverse portfolio of wireless and non-wireless projects, including telecom towers (monopoles, guyed and self-supporting), building mounts, water tanks, and custom structures
• Manage projects from start to finish—from proposals and team coordination to system selection, planning, and construction oversight
• Participate in occasional site visits, inspections, and client meetings
• Take ownership of project quality and efficiency, ensuring that deliverables are accurate, timely, and exceed expectations

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the wireless/telecommunications industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Proficiency in structural design of steel, concrete, and wood
• Strong experience with RISA Suite (RISA-3D, RISA Foundation, RISA Connection)
• Managerial experience
• A collaborative spirit with a desire to mentor junior engineers and review technical work
• Business development savvy and a proactive mindset
• Aspiration to be a go-to technical leader and serve as Engineer of Record

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in the wireless/telecommunications industry

Nice to Have

• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• PE license
• Familiarity with tools like tnxTower, Enercalc, L-Pile, Excel, and AutoCAD
