This role involves dispatching to customer sites, performing break/fix requests, preventative maintenance, and small MAC work for security systems, while maintaining accurate documentation and strong communication with the Client Services Team.
Responsibilities
- Review service ticket requirements and plan execution
- Coordinate equipment and company vehicle resources for service tickets
- Review, modify, and red line job documentation
- Perform service work professionally and according to best practices
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Maintain a clean and orderly jobsite
- Adhere to all applicable safety rules and regulations
- Review materials options and verify count accuracy
- Facilitate the delivery of staged materials to the jobsite
- Communicate and coordinate with the Client Services Team regarding schedule, open items, and job status
- Communicate with the Client Services Team on needed job components and materials
- Commission trade-specific systems including device and cable testing, system functionality testing, system settings/configurations, firmware updates, user acceptance testing, and system documentation
Requirements
- 5-6 years of work experience as a Service Technician with a security integrator
- Manufacturer certifications
- Experience with access control, intrusion, and CCTV (Genetec, Software House, Avigilon, Milestone)
- Current Lenel OnGaurd Certification
- Valid US driver's license with acceptable record
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening
- Required on-call shift work
Qualifications
- 5-6 years of work experience as a Service Technician with a security integrator with manufacturer certifications
Nice to Have
- Experience with Video Surveillance (Avigilon, Hanwha, Exacq, Honeywell, Bosch, Axis)
- Experience with Access Control (LenelS2, AMAG, Honeywell, Open Path, Lenel, RS2, Hirsch)
- Experience with Intrusion (DMP, Honeywell, Bosch)
- Experience with Intercom (Aiphone, Viking)
- Work experience in the financial market of banks
- Engineering or estimating skills
- Knowledge of how to program systems
