Senior Salesforce Developer

About This Role

Lead the development, customization, and optimization of GXPS's Salesforce environment, ensuring alignment with IT strategies and business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior members, and maintain system integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and expertise across Salesforce domains, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, SOSL, metadata management, and package deployment
• Collaborate with the Director of IT to develop and implement Salesforce strategies
• Lead Agile development sprints and manage the full lifecycle of complex Salesforce projects
• Mentor and support IT Specialists and team members, facilitating professional growth and ensuring best practices
• Oversee the rollout of Salesforce updates, security patches, scheduled releases, and validation activities
• Continuously monitor system performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maximize system efficiency and uptime
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective Salesforce solutions
• Provide expert-level technical support to internal and external users
• Implement and enforce security protocols, ensuring data and systems remain protected
• Produce clear, comprehensive technical documentation
• Stay abreast of new Salesforce features, tools, and industry trends

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development, administration, and architecture
• Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Developer, and Architect-level)
• Proven experience leading Salesforce solution design and implementation
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Expertise in integrating Salesforce with third-party systems and tools, data migration, and custom application development
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira
• Experience with version control tools such as Git and GitHub

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; or 10+ years of relevant IT experience
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development, administration, and architecture. 10+ years of relevant IT experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Nice to Have

• Experience with generative Artificial Intelligence tools that integrate with development IDEs for software development productivity
