Senior Release Train Engineer

About This Role

As a Senior SAFe Release Train Engineer at Gainwell Technologies, you will utilize leading-edge technologies to enhance the health and well-being of vulnerable communities. This role focuses on guiding Agile teams, improving processes, and managing project lifecycles within a software development environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure development teams follow scrum framework values and agile practices
• Mentor and motivate teams to improve processes
• Facilitate meetings and decision-making processes
• Eliminate team impediments
• Effectively manage and mentor development teams
• Use agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions
• Determine and manage tasks, issues, risks, and action items
• Schedule and facilitate scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes
• Monitor progress and performance and help teams to make improvements
• Plan and organize demos and product/system testing
• Ensure the proper use of collaborative processes and remove impediments for the scrum team
• Track project processes, deliverables, and financials
• Prepare and present status reports to stakeholders

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant Information Technology experience in SAFe and Agile Methodology
• Hands-On experience as a Release Train Engineer guiding Agile Teams in providing effective solutions for end-users, particularly in software development projects
• Experience handling conflict situations, Interpersonal skills, problem solving and collaboration
• Experience working in Software Development Environments managing complex projects, programs, or initiatives through a full project management life cycle
• SAFe Release Train Engineer Certified

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant Information Technology experience in SAFe and Agile Methodology
