Senior Recruiter (Executive Search)

About This Role

As a Senior Recruiter specializing in executive search, you will lead the full recruitment lifecycle for C-suite and executive roles within a fast-growing proprietary algorithmic trading firm. Your mission will be to identify, engage, and hire top-tier talent in the competitive quant space, leveraging your networks and expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle for C-Suite/executive roles
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and team dynamics
• Proactively source high-caliber candidates through your network, headhunting, events, and online platforms
• Manage pipelines and talent pools, conduct initial screens, and coordinate technical assessments and interviews
• Develop and refine recruiting strategies to target passive talent in competitive markets
• Create competency profiles and talent maps
• Maintain data integrity in our ATS and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, etc.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in recruitment
• 4+ years focused on executive search in the trading space
• Strong network of executive-level candidates in trading markets
• Understanding of how to build talent maps and work with potential talent pools
• Excellent sourcing, headhunting, and candidate engagement skills
• Familiarity with compensation structures, candidate motivations, and competitive intelligence in the space
• Data-driven, organized, and proactive approach to recruiting
• High integrity, discretion, and ability to navigate sensitive negotiations
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-performance teams
• Global hiring experience (e.g., US, UK, EU, APAC)

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in recruitment, with at least 4 years focused on executive search in the trading space

Nice to Have

• HFT/Systematic shops' experience
• Experience in both in-house and agency environments
