Senior QA Tester

About This Role

As a Senior QA Tester, you will join the College Football Quality Verification Team, collaborating with developers, artists, and designers to test and analyze game products. You will define and execute the team's test strategy and advocate for product quality from a player's perspective. This is a temporary position for up to 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Build working relationships with development, production, and design teams to identify bugs and opportunities for quality improvement
• Consider the game from a player's perspective to enhance player experience
• Effectively communicate testing progress and status through verbal and written English
• Champion quality with a Player First approach

Requirements

• Industry experience in an embedded environment, preferably in Quality Assurance
• Experience with testing and defect tracking software
• Experience writing test documentation including test cases and test plans
• Experience with different gaming platforms
• Understanding of white/gray/black box testing practices
• Knowledge of software development methodology and stages (milestones/sprints, Alpha, Beta)
• Strong knowledge of American Football, preferably College Football and/or College Football 26

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent industry experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, Miro, Slack)
• Experience working with offsite teams
• Desire to use innovative testing means such as automation and data
