Senior Project Manager, Engineering

About This Role

Lead planning, execution, and delivery of installation services for commercial refrigeration and HVAC projects, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction through effective project management and engineering expertise.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan installation projects
• Oversee procurement of materials, permits, and supplies
• Orchestrate project schedules
• Maintain communication with all stakeholders
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Forecast manpower requirements
• Report on job status and performance
• Ensure costs are accurately forecasted
• Oversee Change Orders
• Ensure project documentation is complete
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, GCs, and subcontractors
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
• Ensure use of PPE and application of safe behaviors, including driving

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or completion of trade program or technical school
• Construction Project Management Experience (some field knowledge)
• 5+ years formal project management experience in commercial building construction, refrigeration, HVAC or a related industry/trade
• Strong business acumen and project management skills
• Knowledge of automated project management tools, financial reports and general knowledge of accounting principles
• Ability to manage multiple projects, set and balance competing priorities with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Strong analytical capability and the ability to solve complex business problems
• Excellent verbal/nonverbal, written, and presentation skills
• Outstanding relationship building skills, including the ability to proactively address customer issues and concerns, and forge strong working relationships with senior level customer representatives and General Contractors

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or completion of trade program or technical school
• 5+ years formal project management experience in commercial building construction, refrigeration, HVAC or a related industry/trade
