About This Role

Support construction management services for a hyper-scale data center project by overseeing design development, project budgets, and managing the change management process. This role offers significant growth opportunities within a team of construction professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee design development and project budget and cost
  • Verify and approve vendor payables, track vendor quantities through timesheets, and physical accounting
  • Assist in reviewing monthly contractor billing estimates for the owner
  • Lead regularly occurring project team meetings on behalf of the owner
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate contractor updates on behalf of the owner
  • Oversee both the cost report and the monthly billing
  • Manage extra work billings and claims under the supervision of the Project Manager
  • Manage the design change implementation and change management process
  • Manage the submittal and RFI process on behalf of the owner's team
  • Ensure a safe project site and work environment

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in construction management or related field
  • Ability to prepare and communicate cost and revenue projections
  • Knowledge of the permitting process and ability to drive it to meet project timelines
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to understand how role contributes to organizational goals
  • Ability to consistently communicate and collaborate with team members and clients
  • Ability to build relationships with peers, leaders, clients, and customers
  • Ability to proactively participate in self-development
  • Demonstrated ability to be dependable, diligent, and thorough
  • Exercise creativity and resourcefulness in managing projects effectively in compressed timeframes

Qualifications

  • Eight to ten years of experience in construction management or a related field
