Senior Project Controls Specialist (Scheduler)

About This Role

Serve as a Senior Project Controls Specialist (Scheduler) within the PMCM group, focusing on rail and transit projects. This role involves developing and maintaining project schedules, reviewing contractor submissions, and tracking progress to ensure project efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in logistical, delivery, and workforce planning with project personnel
• Incorporate planning into a CPM schedule using Primavera P6 Software
• Review and provide comments on contractor prepared baseline, update, and recovery schedules using Primavera P6 Software
• Attend project progress and schedule meetings
• Accurately track contractor work progress related to schedule
• Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all project stages
• Identify improvements for schedule procedures, templates, and products

Requirements

• 8+ years of construction project scheduling experience
• Proficiency with MS Office programs
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
• 8+ years of construction project scheduling experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice to Have

• Understanding of construction scheduling processes
• Familiarity with and knowledge of Primavera P6
• Certifications with PMI or AACEI
