This role is for a Senior NPI Technical Program Manager in Operations, responsible for overseeing the New Product Introduction schedule from tape-out to production release for products enabling deep learning, AI, and other advanced systems. This individual contributor will drive process improvements and ensure efficient product delivery to market.
Responsibilities
- Track and communicate key results, constraints, risks, and dependencies, identifying critical paths while collaborating with engineering and planning teams.
- Handle cross-functional communications independently within a matrixed team and report progress/roadblocks to upper management.
- Unite diverse teams to resolve complex problems and ensure closure.
- Collaborate on developing the Plan of Record (POR), ensuring qualification plans and specifications are in place for production release.
- Develop engineering wafer and hardware risk plans and manage internal and external sample supply.
- Lead and attend cross-functional NPI meetings, highlighting Operations issues and ensuring product readiness for production.
- Drive process improvement initiatives for NPI across Operations and cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and speed to market.
- Own metrics for NPI supply commits, production ramp, release turning points, and manage bring-up budgets/OPEX for NPI.
- Develop processes and metrics for functional teams in Operations planning, engineering, logistics, and quality.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in an engineering or technical/engineering program management role
- Bachelor's in EE or equivalent experience
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and cross-functional influencing skills
- Proficiency in Program Management and planning tools
- Ability to analyze and solution supply chain processes
- Excellent knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing flow and processes
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguous situations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in EE (or equivalent experience), Master's preferred.
- 7+ years of proven experience in an engineering or technical/engineering program management role.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree
- PMP or other Project/Program Management Certification
