About This Role

Manage a high-volume pipeline of mortgage loan files from initial approval through closing, ensuring compliance with all guidelines. Communicate with various parties and resolve complex issues with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume pipeline of mortgage loan files from initial approval through final closing
  • Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, escrow agents, and clients to ensure all documentation is received and accurate
  • Review income, asset, credit, and collateral documents to verify compliance with guidelines (FHA and VA)
  • Clear processing conditions and prepare files for underwriting submission
  • Ensure files meet all investor, regulatory, and company requirements
  • Maintain pipeline accuracy in the loan origination system (LOS) and update all status changes promptly
  • Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up to avoid delays
  • Resolve complex issues with minimal supervision
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior processors or support staff as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of mortgage processing experience
  • In-depth understanding of mortgage loan products, disclosures, and regulatory guidelines
  • Proficient in reviewing and analyzing income, credit, and asset documentation
  • Familiarity with LOS platform

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-3 years of mortgage processing experience required
