This role involves leading content development for CoreSite's marketing efforts, leveraging industry expertise and communication skills to create compelling content across various platforms. The specialist will collaborate cross-functionally to drive demand generation, elevate brand equity, and ensure content aligns with strategic goals and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Marketing leaders to execute content strategies utilizing human expertise and AI for optimization and performance analysis
- Translate complex data center, cloud, and AI infrastructure concepts into clear, value-driven messaging for diverse audiences
- Collaborate cross-departmentally with demand generation teams and channel sales to develop sales enablement tools
- Conceive, execute, and continually enhance CoreSite's blog strategy, incorporating AI-informed topic research and trend analysis
- Plan and manage CoreSite's blog editorial calendar, internal and external contributors, and content execution
- Manage internal and external writing resources throughout the content development lifecycle for various formats
- Write compelling content in multiple formats including blogs, infographics, video scripts, white papers, case studies, and web copy
- Leverage generative AI tools for content ideation and research, while personally authoring key full-length assets
- Identify opportunities to cultivate senior executive thought leadership and develop content targeting key brand personas
- Collaborate with designers to create visually compelling content and ensure content adheres to usage and lifecycle guidelines
- Apply AI-based SEO and keyword research for content optimization to improve discoverability, engagement, and conversion
- Report on content usage and engagement rates and continually optimize content for effectiveness
- Manage relationships with external vendors including writers, videographers, and publications
Requirements
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills to articulate business value and customer outcomes for complex technologies
- Exceptional editing skills with high attention to detail and strong editorial judgment
- Proficient in the use of SEO optimization tools such as SemRush, Google Analytics, HREFs
- Experience developing and implementing AEO and GEO content to build authority for large AI models (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini)
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment with regular on-site presence of up to 2 days per week
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, English or related field strongly preferred
- At least 6 years of marketing experience with broad exposure to data center technologies and industry trends
Nice to Have
- Ability to use content and design tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft to support digital and social campaigns
- High-level understanding of social media strategies and tactics
- Ability to mentor colleagues on effective communication tactics
