Senior Manager - Private Equity Fund Accounting

About This Role

Manage fund accounting and financial reporting for multiple Real Estate funds. Oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage fund accounting and financial reporting for multiple Real Estate funds across diverse industry sectors
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring client expectations are met and deliverables are completed on time
• Interpret partnership agreements to maintain compliance with financial reporting standards and allocation methodologies
• Manage and review complex accounting tasks, including journal entries, investor allocations, capital transactions, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness
• Lead communication across teams and service providers, mentor junior staff, and drive operational efficiency

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in alternative investment funds, public accounting, or a combination of both
• Strong analytical and technical skills in fund accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Exceptional client service through professional communication and effective collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of progressive experience in alternative investment funds, public accounting, or a combination of both
