The Senior Manager of Staffed Living and Supported Independent Living oversees the effective operation of both programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves providing strategic guidance, mentorship, supervision, and direct support to clients and Program Coordinators.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative supervision to Program Coordinators, monitoring service quality and compliance
- Participate in staff recruitment, identify training needs, and deliver supervision
- Provide direct support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, medication, and appointments
- Foster social engagement, community integration, and meaningful opportunities for clients
- Collaborate with community members to address housing challenges and secure appropriate housing for clients
- Provide strategic guidance and interventions during crisis or housing instability
- Ensure documentation meets compliance standards, developing tracking systems for accuracy and consistency
- Serve on agency committees and represent the division on statewide task forces
- Complete clinical and administrative documentation, prepare reports, and monitor budgets
- Participate in the Developmental Services Emergency On-Call System
Requirements
- Supervisory experience
- Ability to become delegated by DS RN to pass medications for specified residents within 6 months of employment
- Computer skills (typing, email, Microsoft Office Suite)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or five years’ experience in similar role or experience assisting in carrying out duties may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.
- 5 years' experience in a similar role or assisting in carrying out duties, supervisory experience required. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities strongly preferred.
