This role is responsible for establishing and managing global delivery vendor relationships, ensuring operational consistency, scalability, and cost performance. The manager will oversee day-to-day vendor performance, commercial management, and cross-regional coordination to support a 24x7 managed cloud and professional services model.
Responsibilities
- Own global vendor management across key delivery partners
- Drive quarterly business reviews, performance scorecards, and corrective action plans
- Negotiate commercial terms, rate cards, and cost structures to ensure competitive pricing
- Partner with finance to maintain a unified vendor KPI framework
- Ensure vendors meet contract obligations, security requirements, and audit standards
- Manage daily and weekly operational rhythms including capacity planning and forecasting
- Monitor vendor-based delivery risks and drive mitigation plans
- Ensure accurate headcount tracking, shift models, and skill mix across regions
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and role calibration between RapidScale and vendor teams
- Improve vendor staffing speed, quality, and ramp effectiveness
Requirements
- 8+ years' experience in global service delivery, vendor management, HR operations, transformation, or operations strategy
- 3+ years' experience in a management or leadership role
- Experience managing offshore and nearshore partners across multiple regions and functional service lines
- Experience with rate card negotiation, cost optimization, and performance-based contract management
- Experience developing and managing vendor KPI frameworks, governance scorecards, and executive reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
- 8 years' experience or Master's degree and 6 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience; or 12 years' experience. 3+ years' experience in management or leadership role.
