Senior Manager, Accounts Payable

About This Role

This role will provide strategic leadership to transform the Accounts Payable function, serving as a key member of the accounting leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and a strategic approach to transforming the Accounts Payable function
• Serve as a key member of the accounting leadership team, reporting directly to the Controller
• Lead, mentor, and oversee AP disbursement and issue-resolution processes
• Partner cross-functionally to align on resolution strategies and broader business objectives
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships through proactive communication and timely resolution
• Drive process improvements, scalability initiatives, and support special projects as assigned

Requirements

• 7+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• 3+ years in a leadership role
• Inventory-related AP experience
• Solid understanding of inventory management and costing principles
• Demonstrated ability to apply a strategic, solutions-oriented approach to process improvement and change management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 7+ years of Accounts Payable experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role

Nice to Have

• Manufacturing, distribution, or retail background
• Prior leadership of local and remote/offshore teams
