About This Role

As a Senior Loan Underwriter, you will evaluate and analyze loan applications, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies for General Mortgage Capital Corporation. You will utilize company-built AI tools to optimize performance and enhance speed in a fast-growing team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze loan applications
• Process and verify loan documents to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Maintain and update loan application databases
• Perform initial underwriting reviews to identify potential issues
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
• Provide excellent customer service to inbound/outbound communications
• Utilize company-built AI tools to optimize your performance and enhance your speed

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience in financial services, mortgage lending, or real estate
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• College graduate with a degree in a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in industries such as financial services, mortgage lending, or real estate, or processing experience
