Senior Litigation Associate

About This Role

This Senior Litigation Associate will join a civil litigation defense firm, specializing in construction defect and casualty claims. The role involves managing case aspects, drafting motions, preparing for trial, conducting depositions, and providing legal counsel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file motions, pleadings, and discovery
• Represent clients in trial, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations
• Update clients and/or their insurers
• Provide expert legal advice to clients
• Manage day-to-day litigation tasks
• Meet and maintain annual firm billable requirements monthly

Requirements

• 5+ years of law and civil litigation procedures
• Proven track record of drafting and arguing motions
• Ability to effectively navigate the court system
• Experience in trial preparation and courtroom representation
• Skilled in conducting depositions and witness examinations
• Superior written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
• Active member of the Nevada State Bar

Qualifications

• 5+ years of law and civil litigation procedures

• Prior experience in construction or casualty claims
