This Senior Litigation Associate will join a civil litigation defense firm, specializing in construction defect and casualty claims. The role involves managing case aspects, drafting motions, preparing for trial, conducting depositions, and providing legal counsel.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file motions, pleadings, and discovery
- Represent clients in trial, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations
- Update clients and/or their insurers
- Provide expert legal advice to clients
- Manage day-to-day litigation tasks
- Meet and maintain annual firm billable requirements monthly
Requirements
- 5+ years of law and civil litigation procedures
- Proven track record of drafting and arguing motions
- Ability to effectively navigate the court system
- Experience in trial preparation and courtroom representation
- Skilled in conducting depositions and witness examinations
- Superior written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Active member of the Nevada State Bar
Qualifications
- 5+ years of law and civil litigation procedures

- Prior experience in construction or casualty claims
