Senior Finance & Accounting Analyst

About This Role

The Senior Finance & Accounting Analyst will support the CFO across a broad range of accounting, finance operations, and FP&A activities. This role involves exposure to board reporting, revenue analytics, and investor interactions for a venture-backed, high-growth technology company.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and quarter-end close, including revenue recognition review, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and review management accounts and draft P&L and balance sheet reviews.
• Manage Bill.com, including AP review, payment processing, and vendor management.
• Conduct weekly AP and AR review, including customer communications, expense reimbursements, and payroll accounting review.
• Perform weekly bank statement review and reconciliation.
• Monitor revenue performance through internal systems and provide insightful analysis.
• Support preparation of monthly and quarterly board reporting and leadership reporting.
• Assist with financial analysis, forecasting inputs, and ad-hoc analysis.
• Review sales tax returns, support new state registrations, and assist with ad-hoc tax and compliance items.
• Support documentation and audit-readiness processes.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of revenue recognition, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage recurring deadlines.
• Clear communicator able to work cross-functionally.

Qualifications

• ~4–6 years experience in accounting, finance operations, or audit.

Nice to Have

• Experience in SaaS, fintech, or venture-backed companies.
• Comfortable working across systems (QBO, Bill.com, Stripe, ChartMogul).
