The Senior Director of Product Marketing will lead product marketing and sales enablement functions for DIRECTV Advertising, focusing on strategic positioning and messaging of advertising products to drive successful adoption in the market. This role involves leading a high-performing team and partnering with various stakeholders to define go-to-market strategies and clarify product value propositions.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of high-functioning product and sales marketers.
- Set the vision, priorities, and operating rhythm for the product marketing team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead go-to-market strategy, planning, and execution for advertising, data, and technology suites.
- Bring a deep understanding of the TV/CTV advertising industry to create value propositions for DIRECTV Advertising.
- Partner closely with Product to influence product roadmaps based on market insights and advertiser needs.
- Ensure consistent messaging across sales materials, marketing campaigns, presentations, and communications.
- Translate complex advertising, data, and tech capabilities into compelling, customer-centric stories.
- Develop high-impact enablement tools such as sales narratives, one sheets, and objection-handling frameworks.
- Ensure sales team and client-facing partners are trained on product capabilities and competitive differentiation.
- Act as a strategic connector across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Strategy to align priorities and drive execution.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Marketing, or similar field.
- Significant knowledge and understanding of advertising, media, and ad-tech.
- Proven people leadership, including managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency within PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to problem-solve and strong attention to detail.
- Comfort working in a cross-functional environment.
