Senior Director, Office of the CFO | Data Management

About This Role

Lead and build a new data management capability within the Office of the CFO (OCFO) practice for a high-growth advisory firm, focusing on establishing core data architecture, pipelines, and governance for middle-market and PE-backed clients.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a new data management capability within the Office of the CFO (OCFO) practice
• Stand up core data architecture, pipelines, and governance for middle-market and PE-backed clients
• Help clients build foundational data infrastructure and governance in low data-maturity environments
• Lead work focused on data architecture, pipelines, ETL/ELT design, and governance frameworks
• Act as design authority, overseeing and guiding delivery by an offshore data engineering team
• Oversee 10–20 offshore data professionals initially, with plans to scale
• Partner with Managing Directors to identify opportunities, support sales, and lead client engagements
• Translate technical data concepts into clear business and CFO-level value

Requirements

• Proven experience standing up data foundations in low-maturity environments
• Strong understanding of data pipelines, data architecture, ETL/ELT, and governance
• Technically fluent with commercial and client orientation
• Experience owning and guiding delivery, including oversight of offshore engineering teams
• Background in consulting or advisory environments
