Senior Development Manager

About This Role

This role involves leading the colocation development of data centers. Key responsibilities include identifying and acquiring sites, managing due diligence, overseeing permitting, and coordinating utility and energy procurement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead site identification and acquisition efforts for new data center developments
• Manage due diligence, including environmental, geotechnical, and zoning assessments
• Oversee permitting and entitlements at local, state, and federal levels
• Coordinate utility interconnection and energy procurement strategy
• Lead origination and PPA negotiations

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience utility-scale power generation and/or data center projects
• Experience with data center development (1+ year)
• Proven experience managing large-scale development projects through to NTP
• Familiarity with power markets, utility interconnection, and energy contracts
• Understanding of site selection criteria specific to data centers (power, fiber, water)

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in utility-scale power generation and/or data center projects. 1+ year experience with data center development is required.
