Senior Designer

About This Role

This Senior Designer role is for an experienced interior designer (8+ years in high-end residential) who will oversee and execute projects from conception to completion. This individual will manage internal teams, vendors, and client expectations while ensuring design intent, budget, and timelines are met.

Responsibilities

• Research and source materials, hardware, fabrics, tile, lighting, plumbing, artwork, furniture, treatments, and accessories based on specific project requirements
• Manage internal teams, vendor relationships, contractor execution, and client expectations
• Review all documents for design intent and technical accuracy with acute attention to detail
• Manage a team through strong leadership, effective communication, collaboration, motivation, and respect
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and builder, communicating frequently to ensure quality control and timely completion of all phases/timelines/schedules within budget
• Schedule and perform routine site visits and keep the Principal and design team updated on progress and timelines

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in a high-end residential design firm
• Technical knowledge of the building and construction process
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Ability to work in-person 5 days a week in Raleigh, North Carolina
• Either a U.S. citizen or have a valid employment visa to work in the U.S.
• Located in Raleigh, North Carolina

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in a high-end residential design firm

Nice to Have

• Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud (Indesign, Photoshop)
• Experience in Design Manager or other design management software
