Lead complex automation projects from conception to commissioning, providing technical leadership in PLC, HMI, and robotics system design for a global automation systems integrator.
Responsibilities
- Support and lead the delivery of complex automation projects from concept through commissioning
- Provide technical leadership in PLC, HMI, robotics, and overall controls system design
- Interface with clients and project managers providing status updates
- Attend client field service and emergency calls
- Partake in customer meetings and share technical expertise
Requirements
- 5+ years of PLC programming automation machinery inclusive of robotic and machine vision technology
- Ability to travel approximately 25%
- Based in or relocate to Southwestern Michigan
Qualifications
- 5+ years of PLC programming automation machinery inclusive of robotic and machine vision technology.
Nice to Have
- Experience mentoring less experienced Controls Engineers
