Senior Consultant SAP S/4HANA Production Planning / Detailed Scheduling

About This Role

This role will design and optimize modern production and planning processes in SAP S/4HANA for an internationally recognized SAP consulting firm. The consultant will play a key role in transformation projects, helping clients move toward intelligent, integrated, and digitally enabled manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, model, and optimize production and planning processes with a focus on SAP S/4HANA PP and PP/DS
• Design integrated planning architectures from demand planning through to shop floor control
• Support clients with the implementation, adaptation, and enhancement of S/4HANA production planning solutions
• Contribute to greenfield, brownfield, and hybrid migration projects toward digital manufacturing
• Work closely with development teams on technical design, system integration, and debugging/ABAP-related analysis
• Develop end-to-end process solutions in collaboration with related SAP modules including MM, EWM, SD, and aATP

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA PP / PP-DS
• Strong understanding of production processes such as demand planning, sequencing, and manufacturing execution
• Previous consulting experience or in-house SAP experience with readiness to move into client-facing consulting
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into practical SAP solutions
• Solid technical understanding
• Fluent English

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration (Logistics/Production focus), or a comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA PP / PP-DS

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of ABAP (debugging experience is a plus)
