Senior Conference Producer

About This Role

Effectively execute large and complex conference projects, managing timelines, budgets, and client relationships from concept to reconciliation. Ensure flawless concept development and client satisfaction while collaborating with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the effective and efficient execution of timelines and budgets for significantly larger and more complex projects, including live and digital elements.
• Collaborate closely with various teams to ensure flawless concept development and client satisfaction.
• Manage key client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact and proactively addressing issues.
• Provide input on event staffing and resourcing in conjunction with Department Managers and EP leaders.
• Manage key vendor relationships, overseeing the RFP process and ensuring clear communication.
• Oversee the closing and reconciliation process for projects.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Event Managers.
• Understand and effectively manage all GPJ workflow processes to coordinate intricate projects.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in large conference production, live production, integrated production, account management, project management or similar.
• Expert knowledge of end-to-end GPJ Event Production and project processes.
• Experience leading events with $2m+ budget.
• Experience leading events with 2500+ attendees.
• Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office software.

Qualifications

• 4 Year College Degree; preferred in Marketing/Advertising/Event Management/Business Administration, Hospitality, Communications, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in large conference production, live production, integrated production, account management, project management or similar.

Nice to Have

• Some global experience.
• Experience working with Fortune 500 brands.
• Previous experience with ERP, Project Management software, or similar tool.
