Senior Business Analyst - Airline Software Solutions

About This Role

This role involves defining and documenting functional requirements for airline systems, collaborating with development teams and client stakeholders. The Senior Business Analyst will evaluate complex business problems and ensure solutions align with operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business functional requirements (use cases, flow charts, diagrams)
• Translate business processes and user needs into system requirement specifications, new enhancements and new applications
• Develop test cases, conduct/document test results, and support system maintenance
• Coordinate with development teams and support project implementation
• Provide direct customer support and ensure solutions meet business needs
• Stay current on industry trends and present functional and/or technical solution enhancements that add value

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of work experience
• Background in Financial Planning & Analysis, Network Schedule Planning, Revenue Management, Data Analytics or Business Consulting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with BI and reporting tools (e.g., Oracle Analytics, Power BI, SAP Analytics, Tableau, Cognos Analytics, Qlik)
• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle
• Project management and leadership experience
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work independently
• English fluency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of work experience (commercial airline experience preferred)

• Commercial airline experience
• Spanish or other language proficiency
