Nijman Franzetti, LLP is seeking a Senior Associate or Counsel specializing in Environmental Law to provide expert legal services for corporate, municipal, and individual clients. This role involves managing client matters, ensuring regulatory compliance, and navigating complex environmental challenges.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee client matters involving regulatory compliance, environmental permitting, enforcement defense, and private litigation
- Draft legal documents
- Conduct legal research
- Advise clients on environmental laws and regulations
- Assist with environmental aspects of corporate transactions
Requirements
- Strong understanding of environmental laws and regulations, including compliance, permitting, and enforcement
- Experience in litigation, including drafting legal documents, managing court proceedings, and representing clients
- Proven ability to conduct thorough legal research and provide analysis
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration
- Adaptability in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Active bar admission
