About This Role

This role is responsible for designing, documenting, and implementing corporate planning activities, ensuring a balance between functional excellence and cross-functional process requirements. The Senior Analyst will lead key projects related to the company's business, financial, and strategic activities while optimizing departmental processes and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze internal or external quantitative data and reports to formulate recommendations and proposals
  • Compile accurate data on sales, profitability, productivity, project management, and other financial data, conducting analytical assessments to decipher trends
  • Gather information/intelligence, perform analysis, compile/prepare business reports, presentations, and charts, including establishing annual KPIs and reporting
  • Coordinate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Risk Management activities and requests, acting as a key point of contact for all PASA ESG requests
  • Advise on ESG standards, principles, and policies, contributing to the development and publication of ESG reports by collecting data and consolidating information requests
  • Support Business Planning requirements across Executive teams and align with AISJ and BUs, tracking changes within the BP process and assisting in creating a living BP file
  • Work with PEXNA teams to report trade requirements and update PASA Executive management on new legal restrictions, supporting ad hoc requests on trade issues
  • Provide training, instruction, and guidance to others regarding Planning related responsibilities
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Strategy, Financial Strategy, Engineering, PM, Purchasing, Sales, and SCM functions to understand automotive industry trends
  • Assist in the audit process for IP usage, set up new programs with IP requirements, and support monthly reporting and tracking processes

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree in business/marketing, finance or a related field
  • Five (5) years related business/analysis experience
  • Analytical skills to include experience with financial analysis
  • Working knowledge of business practices including business, financial and strategic planning
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows based databases

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree in business/marketing, finance or a related field
  • Five (5) years related business/analysis experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice to Have

  • Leadership experience
  • Good overall knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of SAP Preferred
