Senior Analyst, Data Analytics & Reporting

About This Role

This role involves collaborating with the Asset Management team to provide data reporting and analytical insights for a client's portfolio of commercial real estate loans. The role will lead in creating and maintaining various reports, analyses, data models, and analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal stakeholders and clients to understand business needs and translate them into data collection, transformation, analysis, and presentation solutions
• Analyze, interpret, and present data using industry-relevant commercial real estate asset management software like RealINSIGHT
• Support the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, data mining, analytics, dashboards, and presentations
• Recommend process improvement opportunities by documenting current and creating future state process documentation
• Maintain and support databases, including data input, correction, format determination, and ensuring data integrity
• Build data collection processes, enrich existing in-house data, and ensure data quality and completeness
• Teach business users how to interact with visualizations and interpret results, and develop reference materials
• Develop training programs and communication plans to improve user adoption and effectiveness of new and existing features
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues related to report generation, ensuring efficient processes

Requirements

• 2-4 years of industry and/or relevant experience
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, PivotTables, data transformation)
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Strong working knowledge of data management best practices
• Solid business judgment, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong time management and communication skills (written and oral)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-4 years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically at an Analyst level role or external equivalent

Nice to Have

• Experience in Financial Services, Real Estate Finance
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Experience with commercial real estate asset management or servicing/special servicing systems such as RealINSIGHT, CAMs, Enterprise!
• Experience with enterprise reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau
