About This Role

Lead the design and implementation of security controls for generative AI solutions across the enterprise. Partner with AI development teams to embed security into model training, deployment, and usage while defining architecture patterns, controls, and threat models tailored to AI/ML systems.

Responsibilities

  • Architect secure AI/ML pipelines and model deployment environments
  • Develop AI-specific threat models and security controls
  • Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to ensure secure design
  • Evaluate third-party AI tools and APIs for security risks
  • Partner with Information Security incident response teams to investigate AI-related security events
  • Partner with Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance to conduct organization-wide risk analysis and security maturation assessments of organizational AI solutions
  • Stay current on AI security research, adversarial ML, and regulatory trends
  • Partner with business units when onboarding AI solutions to ensure adequate controls are available and enabled in production

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of LLMs, generative AI, and model lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy, model governance, and adversarial AI/ML
  • High level of integrity and trustworthiness, as well as confidence to represent the company and security leadership with the highest level of professionalism
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity (security architecture, offensive security, security engineering or application security)
  • 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and securing AI/ML
  • 2+ years of experience in AWS, GCP, and/or Microsoft Azure cloud computing security configuration and management
  • 2+ years of experience in application security with an emphasis on AI/ML
  • Demonstrated project management, multitasking and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of industry accepted risk management frameworks and standards such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST Privacy Framework
  • Knowledge of industry accepted Information Security frameworks and standards such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), ISO27001, NIST 800 Series, OWASP GenAI Security Project

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information assurance, MIS or related field, or equivalent
  • 8+ years in cybersecurity in one or more roles, including security architecture, offensive security, security engineering or application security. 3+ years experience designing, implementing, and securing AI/ML. 2+ years in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Microsoft Azure cloud computing security configuration and management. 2+ years in application security with an emphasis on AI/ML.
