Senior Accountant, E-Commerce

About This Role

Join FlowFi's network as a Senior Accountant, serving as the main contact for clients and performing full cycle accounting tasks. Your expertise in accounting principles and customer service will ensure successful monthly book closures for clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform full cycle accounting activities such as general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable management, and financial statement preparation
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes
• Review and analyze financial data for anomalies, errors, and discrepancies, taking corrective actions as necessary
• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships and understanding their unique accounting requirements
• Coordinate with clients to gather necessary financial information, resolve issues, and provide regular updates on book closure progress
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in accounting roles
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience working on multiple customers’ books each month
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and compliance standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in accounting roles with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting; experience working on multiple customers' books each month
