Self Direction Supervisor

About This Role

The Self Direction Supervisor will serve as the primary contact for all FI-related matters, supporting Lead Self Direction Coordinators and other Coordinators. This role ensures continuity of services, assists with project management, and provides necessary coverage to ensure Fiscal Intermediary supports specified in individuals' life plans are met.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact person/support for all FI related matters
• Act as a point person for Lead Self Direction Coordinators and other Coordinators
• Assist with ongoing project/team management
• Provide coverage to assure all Fiscal Intermediary supports are being provided
• Support SDCs in understanding AIM Self Direction policies and procedures
• Assure person centered supports are being provided by internal and external teams
• Support the AIM Self Direction Department with all fiscal intermediary policies and procedures
• Support the Self Direction Department with routine external trainings
• Support the Lead Self Direction Coordinators by being the point person/mentor when needed
• Support the Lead SDCs with oversight of the SDCs/other Coordinators and departmental operations
• Ensure that the teams are trained and comfortable with the Evero Software Platform

Requirements

• Valid NYS Drivers License acceptable to Agency Insurance standards
• Maintain valid vehicle insurance if using own vehicle
• Ability to exhibit/maintain a professional, kind, courteous and patient manner at all times
• Complete the Broker Training Institute (BTI) and any supplemental trainings when offered
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Reading / Math skills at a level to perform job duties
• Demonstrated interest and ability to make possible the personal outcomes of individuals receiving services
• Adherence to Agency policies including attendance policy

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a Human Services Related Field or High School Degree
• 2 years experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, or 4 years experience with High School Degree plus one year as a Fiscal Intermediary Coordinator

Nice to Have

• Associates Degree in a Human Services Related Field with 2 years experience working with individuals with disabilities
• High School Degree with 4 years experience working with individuals with disabilities and one year as a Fiscal Intermediary Coordinator
