Security Project Manager

About This Role

Lead the delivery of physical security systems for new office builds, coordinating between internal teams and managing projects from design through commissioning to ensure on-time and within-budget installations.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural floor plans and apply company security standards
• Collaborate with Regional Security Manager to assess site-specific security risks
• Present security designs and recommendations to stakeholders
• Coordinate with internal teams including Workplace, Network, and AV/VC for integrated solutions
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Obtain detailed quotes from approved integrators for security system installations
• Track project costs, manage budget adherence, and process Purchase Orders
• Manage project schedules and ensure integrator adherence to timelines
• Present project risks, issues, and mitigation strategies to stakeholder groups
• Program security systems prior to on-site testing and commissioning

Requirements

• 7+ years project management experience, preferably in physical security or construction
• Extensive experience with enterprise physical security systems including Access Control Systems, Video Management Systems, Visitor Management Systems, and Integrated security platforms
• Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects
• Strong experience with budget management and financial tracking
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working with integrators and technical vendors
• Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet)
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and floor plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
• 7+ years of project management experience, preferably in physical security or construction

• Knowledge of building codes and security compliance requirements
• Experience with enterprise-scale deployments across multiple locations
