Seasonal Team Member

About This Role

Provide outstanding customer service and support to customers in a retail environment, assisting with product merchandising, register operations, and store maintenance. This is a temporary seasonal role with potential for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Promote Family Farm and Home mission statement and family values
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements
• Uphold merchandising, store cleanliness, and safety standards
• Contribute to the daily maintenance of the store
• Participate in the recovery, execution and proper labeling of products
• Complete register training and understand all forms of payment related operations
• Assist with the register as needed
• Follow all Family Farm and Home and OSHA guidelines for a safe work environment
• Aid customers in locating merchandise in store and on the company website
• Assist customers loading merchandise into vehicles
• Support Family Farm and Home selling initiatives (loyalty program, private label credit card, item of the month, protection plans)
• Assist in fulfillment and loadout of BOPIS (Buy Online Pick Up In Store) orders
• Assist in the completion of store closing duties
• Contribute to a positive working environment for all team members

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Basic product knowledge and willingness to learn
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
• Commitment to excellent service and customer satisfaction
• Strong team player yet able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of basic computer systems
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to climb up and down ladders, reach, bend, twist, kneel
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
