About This Role

Provide excellent customer service, assist with product sales, and help maintain a welcoming store environment for a floral and gift retailer. This role focuses on customer interaction, sales processing, product knowledge, and store aesthetics.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and offer assistance with floral, plant, and gift purchases
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and offering recommendations
• Attempt to “up-sell” and suggest “add-ons” with every purchase to increase sales
• Ring up customer purchases accurately on the computerized point of sale (POS) system
• Process cash, credit card, and check payments efficiently
• Answer phones, take orders, and enter them into the POS system accurately
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products offered for sale
• Inform customers about store promotions, discounts, and new products
• Set up and maintain attractive product displays
• Keep the sales floor, cooler, and displays clean and organized throughout the day
