Operate Cherry Picker and Reach Truck power equipment to pick customer orders efficiently and safely within a warehouse environment, supporting inbound, outbound, and eCommerce operations.
Responsibilities
- Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations
- Count all products, compare to manifest, and check all shipments for damage before storage
- Report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments to the supervisor
- Efficiently stack and store merchandise in appropriate areas
- Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring correct product selection
- Carry or transport orders to proper staging locations
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage and report quality variances
- Efficiently move product from staging or storage areas into trailers, ensuring safe stacking, wrapping, and loading
- Safely and efficiently operate forklift or other material handling equipment as required
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area and comply with OSHA and SDS standards
Requirements
- Six months of forklift experience
- Ability to work overtime during peak season
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
Qualifications
- High school diploma is preferred
- Six months of forklift experience is required
