Coordinate, communicate, and implement activities for the VR SEAL program, working jointly with the VR SEAL Lead to support training and placement for trainees. This role is crucial in delivering a quality work experience program to SEAL participants.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement a quality work experience program for SEAL participants
- Outreach VR Seal Referrals to provide program information and encourage engagement
- Communicate with SEAL Manager regarding issues needing VR partner engagement
- Act as program liaison with SEAL trainees and guardians to provide information for successful Work Experience engagement
- Conduct Work Readiness training with VR customers in compliance with the SEAL Plan
- Assist in matching SEAL customers with available SEAL worksites
- Process SEAL participants for appropriate enrollment into the ADP system
- Assist and guide customers in the completion of enrollment activities and documentation for compliant SEAL enrollment
- Schedule and perform New Hire Orientations as needed
- Schedule and perform Worksite Supervisor Orientations and document them as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of work experience in training, counseling, or case management
- Substantial case management experience
- Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures
- Experience working successfully with individuals with disabilities
- Personal computer literacy including Internet, e-mail, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Exceptional time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree) or higher preferred
- 2+ years of work experience combining elements of training, counseling, case management, or other services; substantial case management experience
