School Psychologist Lead

About This Role

This role involves providing supervision and evaluation for School Psychologists within the Exceptional Education Department. The Coordinator ensures psychological services align with federal mandates and state regulations for students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and evaluation for School Psychologists in the Exceptional Education Department
• Be responsible for psychological services throughout the district
• Ensure provision of school psychological services to students with disabilities in accordance with federal law mandates and state regulations

Requirements

• Doctorate in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology or related field
• Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Licensed School Psychologist or license eligibility within one year of employment
• Current Arizona Department of Education School Psychologist Certificate
• Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card
• Five years of experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting
• Three years of experience leading a team and supervising others
• Word Processing/Database/Spreadsheet Program Knowledge
• Knowledge of federal regulations and Arizona State Board of Education rules regarding special education
• Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions

Qualifications

• Doctorate in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology or related field
• Five years of experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting, plus three years of experience leading a team and supervising others
