This multi-role position provides essential support to the School Nurse and assists with the daily operations of the East Valley Institute of Technology's Power Rd campus. Responsibilities include administering first aid, managing student health records, restocking vending machines, and handling inventory and cash payments.
Responsibilities
- Provide essential support to the EVIT's School Nurse
- Assist in the daily operation of the campus
- Help administer first aid and medications in the health office
- Maintain student health records
- Ensure compliance with EVIT policies and confidentiality standards
- Restock vending machines
- Manage inventory
- Collect cash payments
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
Requirements
- One year experience working as medical assistant or certified nursing assistant in an acute, subacute or home health care
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Certified Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician Level 1 with current CPR card and/or BLS Certified for Health Care Providers
- Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957
- Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level I IVP fingerprint card
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience working as a medical assistant or certified nursing assistant; 1 year of retail, cashiering, or customer service experience preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience with working with grades 9-12 school aged children
- One year of retail, cashiering, or customer service experience
