Sanitation Technician I

About This Role

Perform cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, following established procedures and SOPs to ensure safety and hygiene. Record sanitation activities and issues, and advise supervisors on progress and non-routine issues.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures in the cleaning and sanitation of idle production equipment
• Wet wash rooms and production lines
• Complete required reporting to reflect activity
• Advise supervisor when supplies need to be ordered

Requirements

• Ability to stand regularly
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds regularly
• Ability to move up to 45-50 pounds with aid
• Ability to communicate and take direction

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• At least six months experience in a sanitation production environment preferred
