This role involves achieving maximum sales profitability and growth within an assigned territory by effectively selling SMI products. The individual will focus on securing new business accounts and maintaining relationships with current customers.
Responsibilities
- Promote, sell, and secure orders from existing and prospective customers
- Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers
- Assist customers in selecting products best suited for their needs
- Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with customers and prospects
- Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to customers
- Develop clear and effective written proposals for current and prospective customers
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
- Plan and organize personal sales strategy for the territory or customer
- Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products/services
- Participate in trade shows and conventions when needed
