Sales Trainer - Call Center

About This Role

This role involves facilitating training classes for new and current employees within a contact center, focusing on sales, product, and customer service. The Sales Trainer will deliver effective learning sessions through classroom-style computer-based training and individual coaching, primarily supporting the travel industry.

Responsibilities

• Train and coordinate classes for new hire and continuing education training programs
• Maintain adequate inventory of classroom materials and equipment
• Create and maintain training registration, attendance, and completion records
• Provide on-the-job coaching to new hires while on the phones in the training classroom
• Evaluate, measure, and track the progress of training participants
• Provide feedback and hiring recommendations to managers
• Organize and write basic communication materials for weekly training briefings
• Maintain new hire employee records, including coaching information

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience delivering sales, product and customer service training for new hires in inbound/outbound call centers
• Previous experience facilitating or creating sales curriculum
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills

Qualifications

• BA or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of delivering sales, product and customer service training programs for new hires in inbound/outbound call center

Nice to Have

• Experience in the travel industry
• Knowledge of the travel industry
