Lead a team of sales representatives to meet budgeted sales goals within a territory, focusing on Zimmer Biomet products particularly in upper extremities. Drive sales growth through product knowledge, in-person meetings, and effective pipeline management.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of sales reps to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets through training, coaching, and management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute local educational and sales events to increase business
- Utilize sales systems to manage and track leads, and report on customer sales activities
- Communicate with Regional Sales Leaders and internal functions to convey customer feedback
- Report on competitor and customer activities in the field
- Build strong relationships with key surgeons and cover Reconstructive, Extremities, CAS, Surgical, Sports Medicine and Trauma procedures with clinical proficiency and business acumen
- Adhere strictly to all policies and SOPs regarding HCP interaction, product handling, expense reporting, sales activities, and training
- Support Zimmer Biomet sales by sharing knowledge, ideas, and references
- Develop relationships with product support personnel
- Collaborate with and provide sales support and case coverage for team and/or territory, including transportation of Zimmer Biomet instruments and implants
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years sales experience in medical device (preferably upper extremities) or 8+ years in medical device industry sales
- Ability to travel extensively
- Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to complete tasks accurately and on time with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience in medical device, preferably upper extremities, or a minimum of 8 years’ proven sales experience in the medical device industry.
